The Plurinational State of Bolivia, is a landlocked sovereign country located in central South America. Bolivia is bordered on the north and the east by Brasil, on the southeast by Paraguay, on the south by Argentina, and on the west by Chile and Peru.[1]
Bolivia is a representative democratic republic divided into 9 departments. Its geography varies from the peaks of the Andes mountains to the tropical forests of the Amazon Basin. It is a developing country with a medium Human Development Index score and a poverty level around 59%. Its main economic activities include agriculture, mining, and manufacturing of products such as textiles.
